ELEVATOR
This CG image was made for a Tokyo Interior Designer who had a contract with a Lamination Company to make a proposal for the interior of the Elevator for the Sunshine building which is A 50 story high-rise office building in Ikebukoro, Tokyo. The graphics used to display the interior panels material was very important so the use of a SGI computer with what is now called Maya Software was used to create this image.
SALT SHAKER
This image was created to assist one of my Product Design students with the construction of this model. The complexity of the curved surfaces was beyond what the students could accomplish in the class. We were using only VectorWorks and at that time it was called Mini-Cad which made it virtually impossible to construct such a surface.
THE WATCH
This watch was initially created to explain to my students how to make a basic computer graphics model of various shapes assembled together to make a simple object. This exercise also touched on the application of materials and how to position the camera and lights for maximum effectiveness. The software used is Form-Z.
