Size:
Total-181 sqm
First FL-44.95 sqm
Second FL-90.90 sqm
Third FL-45.50 sqmThis project was my first project in Japan and I worked on it while in Mr. Mozuna's Office. The overall conception was from Mr. Mozuna and the concept of the residence is as a gate to a theater. The two side rooms form columns from which the body of the building is supported and the top floor being all glass serving as a viewing platform. This project was designed for a famous Japanese actor/comedian as a second house and the theater is for his outdoor productions. The oval planning of the theater space enters the house in the form of a curved wall that encompasses the living areas that face the theater and the Japanese Sea. Some of the photograph's come from the magazine Shinkenchiku August 1997.
